ELECTROCHEMISTRY
Electrochemistry
THE'electrochemistryIt studies the processes involving the transfer of electrons through an external electrical circuit; it therefore refers to the chemical transformations produced by the passage of electricity in certain chemical systems and the production/storage of electricity through chemical transformations.

Electrophoresis
THE'electrophoresis- an analytical and separation technique - is based on the movement of electrically charged particles immersed in a fluid due to an applied electric field and a pair of electrodes on the fluid itself. In an electrolytic cell, the cathode assumes a negative charge while the anode assumes a positive charge, so the particles tend to move toward the cathode if they are positively charged (cataphoresis) and toward the anode if they are negatively charged (anaphoresis).
