BioDrop Cuvette
Special PEEK cuvette with magnetic opening
- BioDrop is an innovative solution for accurate spectroscopy with low sample volumes. The operator can use a simple method to read microvolumes (up to 0.6 µL) of DNA, RNA, proteins, etc.
- The highly rigid and robust PEEK structure ensures high measurement reliability thanks to the high accuracy and reproducibility of the optical path and analysis volume. PEEK is a solid, resistant, shock-resistant, and unbreakable material.
- Shell opening system, two precisely machined halves are held together magnetically, the sample is contained between these two parts to avoid evaporation phenomena that can compromise the reliability of the readings
- Exceptional ease of use and cleaning
- Viewer for simple and effective evaluation of impurities, bubbles or dust in the sample
- Completely free optical path, free of lenses and artifacts, which significantly reduce energy, this approach allows to avoid energy losses in the order of 1 absorbance unit
- Open system, compatible with traditional spectrophotometry techniques, to be able to use the spectrophotometer with traditional sampling methods (cuvettes, micro-cuvettes, etc.)
