In 2014, the VTT Technical Research Centre in Finland initiated a project to transform traditional, bulky NIR spectrometers into a convenient, portable format. The project's key innovation was the introduction of an integrating sphere specifically designed for this particular type of sample, as well as the development of a low-power, low-noise NIR photodetector for room-temperature operation.

GRAINSENSE LAB


The GrainSense Lab analyzer is developed based on patented technology, validated worldwide by a vast library of calibrations developed by GrainSense, to measure protein, moisture, oil, and carbohydrates from certified wheat kernel samples. Thanks to Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) technology and a 360° reading mode (integrating sphere), it guarantees exceptionally accurate results.

GS GO ANALYZER

The GS Go is a portable, battery-powered grain analyzer with advanced NIR (Near Infrared) technology. It provides protein, moisture, oil, and carbohydrate values in seconds and with very little sample.

GS COMBINE GSFLOW

Instant grain quality measurement in combines and silos. The GS Combine analyzer was developed to analyze grain quality in real time in an actively flowing environment. When installed in a combine, the GrainSense analyzer measures protein and moisture online during harvest.
