They have virtual dual-beam optics: the optical-electronic system consists of a beam produced by a Xenon lamp and an electronic, 'virtual', beam with a correction function for the best performance of the instrument. This correction function is guaranteed by the acquisition of a baseline which is regularly compared with the current readings, allowing the instrument to perform scans equivalent to those of a double optical beam.

The advanced microprocessor and sophisticated resident software allow for a high analytical standard, thanks to the constant monitoring and processing of results that the instrument provides.

The instrument, by virtue of the reduced number of mirrors used and completely sealed optics, guarantees high system energy, reliability over time with very low maintenance costs, and is able to offer the same performance as dual-beam optical systems. All models are accredited with ISO9002 certification and carry the 'CE' mark, having been manufactured in compliance with EEC LVD and C.E.M. 89/336 standards.

- Automatic calibration of wavelengths with self-diagnosis of optical, mechanical and electronic functions at startup;

- Automatic search for maximum absorbance peak with baseline correction;

- Concentration readings with automatic calculation and/or manual introduction of K factor;
